Ingredients

-1 1/2 cups white flour
– 1/2 cup wheat germ
– 2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1/2 cup applesauce
– 1/2 cup finely shredded carrot
– 1 cup oatmeal (old fashioned)
– 1 egg lightly beaten
– 1/4 cup milk

Ingredients

-Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
-Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
-Whisk together flour, wheat germ and baking powder in a medium bowl.
-In another bowl mix applesauce, carrot and oatmeal. Add half of flour mixture and mix.
-Gradually add the remaining flour mixture.
-Drizzle in the egg and milk while mixing, until well combined.
-Scoop 2 tablespoon portions onto prepared baking sheet. (They retain most of their size and shape.)
-Bake for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned on the outside but still soft on the inside.
-Remove and allow to cool.
-Keep in airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze if they last that long!

 

Ingredients

2 cups flour (preferably whole wheat flour or white whole wheat flour)
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup water

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Combine flour, eggs, and peanut butter in a large bowl. Mix into a thick crumbly dough.
Add water, one tablespoon at a time, until the dough can be rolled into a large ball.
Roll out the dough onto a clean, floured surface to about 1/4″ thick.
Use cookie cutters or a knife to cut into individual treats.
Place the treats on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool before sharing!
